My kind of low and high temperatures today, as the low temperature was 64F and the high temperature was 74F. Although still a bit hazy, this was by far the best weather day in sometime. Gasoline purchased today was at $3.689/gallon, probably about average for the trip so far. The total mileage from New York to La Conner, Washington read 4238 on the odometer, equating a shy over 302 miles per day for the 14 days traveled. The number of states visited is now up to 11 which include New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, and Washington.
The return trip starts tomorrow as Mount Rainier is in my sights. If one remembers, the top of the mountain was not seen last year. Let's hope tomorrow brings nice weather again.
