Kettle Pond

This picture of a Kettle Pond was taken from just below Sunrise Point, Mt Rainier, Washington.  Notice the greenish color of the lake, this is from all the minerals that were deposited from the melted ice of a glacier.

    Beautiful picture,,looks so quiet and peaceful. Are there still as many people about in Washington?
