As is typical out West as one traverses up and down the mountain ranges, the temperature lows and highs will vary a great deal. Today's low was 48F at Dunraven Pass (elevation 8849 feet) in Yellowstone National Park and the high of 84F on Highway 89 (elevation 5314) just outside of Yellowstone on the trek up to Bozeman, Montana. It also rained a great deal of the time today mostly from the 10AM to 3 PM time frame. Gasoline was purchased twice again, once at $3.579/gallon and once at $3.649/gallon. Most of the time spent in Yellowstone was to travel along the Upper Loop as this is the area I missed on my previous visits. As one can see from the photos, they were somewhat unique areas.
My plans for tomorrow is to land in Shelby, Montana so as I can spend all day Sunday in Glacier National Park.
Hope everyone is safe and warm!
