This picture of Mount Index was taken on Route 2 near Index, Washington. Mt Index is a peak in the Cascade Mountain Range rising to an elevation of 5979 feet above sea level. Although the mountain has a relatively low elevation compared to a lot of the mountains in the area, its uniqueness comes from the three pointed spires (two are seen in the photo) which rise steeply from a very low base.
I think Carol should scale this peak to help get over her acrophobia. :-)
