This picture was taken in Charles Lindbergh State Park just outside of Little Falls, Minnesota. Charles A. Lindbergh, Jr., who became world famous in 1927 when he flew solo and nonstop to Paris in the Spirit of St Louis airplane, spent his boyhood summers here in this house. This house was built in 1907 by his father and used until 1931 when the Lindbergh family donated this house and 110 acres to the state of Minnesota as a memorial to Charles Lindbergh, Sr.
