These pictures were taken as one ascends and descends Beartooth Mountain Plateau on Beartooth Highway, in both Montana (Top Photo) and Wyoming (Bottom Photo). Notice the differences in terrain as one heads from Eastern to the Western part of Beartooth Highway.
I'm starting to see why they called it Yellowstone NP! I just hope they can control the fires in the southern part of the park. I think it was the late 80’s when it suffered significant damage. Beautiful landscapes......
