This picture of a Floating Boardwalk was taken on Lake Coeur d'Alene in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. This Floating Boardwalk claim to fame is it is the longest Floating Boardwalk in the world which measures 12 feet wide and 3300 feet long. There is a bunch of unique features of the Floating Boardwalk, the list includes a 3000 square foot sunning area, a sailboat gate that adjoins the 60 foot long bridge on the West side, and 365 slips.
Seems to me there was a major golf tournament played here a few years back. Looks like a pretty nice resort area, no?
